At the last station of the line a final quality check is performed. This consists
of checking the universal database to make sure that the unit passed every test,
including the Critical Component Testing. In addition, the system allows for
a final leak test No test connections are necessary at this testing station.
The computer prompts the operator to scan the unit serial number created at the
Lay In station. The computer uses the scanned serial number to look up in the
database the unit model number and load the Model specific Program or Global
program if configured. This Program defines the parameters for the Final Leak
Tests. This station can incorporate a variety of timed and operator input prompts.
A customer configurable unit report card is printed. The report card can contain any and all of the testing results. If the unit has not passed any one of the other testing stations the red light is illuminated and the unit is not allowed to be packaged. The computer displays a listing of the units test history so the operator knows what testing must be completed. The station has a key switch bypass to allow for bypassing the database interlocks, or can be programmed to allow for supervisory password override. The station also allows for calibration auditing of the refrigerant leak detector and will not allow further testing until a calibration cycle is verified successful. |
