How long have you been with LSI?

First, from 2000 to 2008, and then I returned in March 2022.

What is your role at LSI?

Business Development

Where did you go to college?

The University of Tennessee in Knoxville – Industrial Engineering.

What industries have you been involved in?

Mostly Food and Beverage, Plastics & Rubber, Steel, Utilities, Power Generation & Specialty Chemicals. I have a little experience in Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas, and Pharmaceuticals.

What is your area of expertise?

I was a process engineer for several years and migrated toward Data Collection, Analytics & Presentation in support of Operational Intelligence.

What platforms are you familiar with?

AVEVA PI, Historian, System Platform, InTouch, PARCview, iba, PowerBI, and Rockwell FactoryTalk

What has been your favorite project at LSI?

A customer who purifies gases from dairy cow manure needed assistance with reliably collecting data from each site. But I did not have to go onsite. 🙂

What is your proudest moment at LSI?

I’m just proud to be here.

A great mix of young talent and seasoned experts, we take time to listen and have strong integrity.

What is one thing that clients may not know about LSI that you would like to share?

We have professionals beyond automation and process control. Some of the most valuable projects to our customers were creating data analytics or implementing cybersecurity measures to protect their employees and customers.

Long-term client relationships are a hallmark of LSI. Why is that?

When customers get more than they expect, they come back.

How has LSI helped you in your career development?

Many companies offer services that are very one-dimensional. LSI has helped me combine my experience with new industries and technologies, making me a more rounded professional.

What advice do you have for prospective LSI candidates?

If you are looking for challenging and rewarding work in an environment of high integrity, you won’t find any better place than LSI.

How do you like to spend your free time?

Sitting by a fire with my wife (yes, she helped me with this one), camping, boating, hiking, and family.

Any mountain lake.

I am on the board of a foundation whose mission is to cover the high cost of adopting a child in need for qualified couples.
