Workshop Information:
The 10-day certification workshop focuses on a wide variety of SIMATIC PCS 7 topics, including best practices and efficient engineering methodologies. The participants receive hands-on training by working on their own ES, OS, and AS station. The last day of the workshop is used for the certification test, which is both theoretical and practical. The theoretical test consists of randomly generated multiple-choice questions from an extensive SIMATIC PCS 7 questions database and lasts 90 minutes. The practical test concentrates on the methodology of PCS 7 project implementation and lasts 210 minutes.
The prerequisites for the workshop are experience in process control engineering, practical experience in SIMATIC PCS 7 project planning, and basic knowledge of the APL (Advanced Process Library).
