Memphis, TN, September 17, 2021 – Logical Systems, LLC (LSI), one of the largest system integrators in North America, announced today the launch of LSI Coffee, a new division focused on helping coffee production companies improve and grow their operations.

Coffee industry veteran Scott Manes will lead the new division as Director of LSI Coffee. Scott has over 26 years of coffee controls and process experience with many worldwide installations.

“Scott is a former employee of LSI and has been a partner for 20 years,” says Larry Bailey, LSI’s CEO. “We are very pleased to continue our relationship in his new role with us. His industry expertise and experience will complement LSI Coffee, our process and construction capabilities, and enhance our customer-first culture for our coffee clients.”

Built on LSI’s foundation of over 35 years of automation and controls experience and decades of coffee industry expertise, LSI Coffee’s dedicated engineering resources bring an advanced level of service and support to operations of all sizes. The new division provides support for all coffee production equipment controls and systems, including batch, roaster, handling, grinding, and blending controls and the integration of packaging systems with this equipment.

LSI Coffee is actively working with several large coffee companies, providing both greenfield and brownfield services. From minor hardware upgrades to the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of new facilities, LSI  has the resource depth to meet all the needs of a coffee operation.
